from those who inspire us

Hi All,

I’m heading off to the Arrowhead race this weekend and being the techno whiz that I am I will be laying down a footprint with my new Spot gps. I am planning on doing the 135 miles ( last year I took 26 1/2 hrs ) and then having a good break at the finish and then riding back up the course to the halfway checkpoint. Being old and hopefully wise, I’ll probably need another break at that point. I’m then planning to turn and head back to the finish although I might be dazed and confused by then so we’ll have to see which way I end up going.

I’m sending you this link and explanation as I’m sure to need some good Karma and having friends watch over me will help. ( it will also make it very hard for me to bail out as I’ll know that people are watching. I’m hoping to do the Iditabike in the future and it is 350 miles. I thought that would seem more attainable if I have done a 270 mile ride as compared to 135.

To follow my progress just click on this link and it will take you to my site. If this doesn’t work, copy and paste it onto your browser. By the way, the race doesn’t start till Monday February 1st at 7 am.

Lindsay
